Terms of Service for Financcio

1. Who we are

Financcio is a UK-based bookkeeping company providing general bookkeeping services such as Bank Reconciliation, invoicing, general expense processing, VAT returns, and other financial admin support for small businesses, freelancers, and startups.

2. Services we offer

We provide:

• Bookkeeping and ledger maintenance
• VAT Returns preparation and submission
• Supplier statement reconciliation
• Basic and advanced financial reporting
• Administrative support
• Payroll preparation and PAYE submission
• Invoicing
• Advanced cash-flow reporting
• Management accounts preparation and submission

We are qualified bookkeepers not registered accountants or financial advisors unless stated explicitly.

3. Client responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide complete and accurate financial records
• Respond to requests for information in a timely manner
• Maintain confidentiality of your login credentials (if an account system is used)
• Pay fees as outlined in our pricing or service agreement in a timely manner

Failure to provide timely or accurate data may delay service delivery and affect outcomes.

4. Data Confidentiality & GDPR

All client data is handled in accordance with UK GDPR and Data Protection laws. We will not sell or disclose your data to third parties without consent unless legally required.

5. Limitations of Liability

Financcio shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss
• Errors resulting from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the client
• Delays due to HMRC or third-party systems

We strive to provide accurate services but do not guarantee outcomes such as tax savings or HMRC acceptance unless explicitly confirmed.

6. Payments and Cancellations

Invoices are due within 14 days unless otherwise agreed. Recurring services are billed monthly on the 1st of every month.

Clients can cancel services by giving 28 days' written notice. No refunds are given for services already rendered.

7. Intellectual Property

All website content (logo, design, text) is owned by Financcio or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or modify our content without permission.

8. Third-Party Services

We may integrate or refer to third-party services (e.g., cloud storage or accounting software). We are not responsible for their availability or reliability.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. Changes will be posted on this page and take effect immediately.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be handled in UK courts.

11. Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 (POCA) and the Terrorism Act 2000

These acts, alongside the Money Laundering Regulations, require individuals, especially those in the regulated sector, to report knowledge or suspicion of money laundering or terrorist financing.
